This is stated in a document issued on March 18 by the Government Office notifying the conclusions of the Prime Minister at a recent meeting on preparations for the National Assembly ratification of the TPP.

To realize this objective, the Ministry of Justice and related ministries and sectors are urged to quickly complete the review and assessment of impacts of the TPP on the country’s legal system.

The Ministry of Justice will draw up a list of laws, ordinances and decrees that need to be revised or issued in line with TPP commitments together with specific timetables for such revision and issuance and submit it to the Government before April 20.

This deadline is also set for the Ministry of Industry and Trade to prepare a report for TPP ratification in accordance with the Constitution and the Law on Conclusion, Accession to and Implementation of Treaties.- (VLLF)
