Visa for foreigners living in Vietnam will be issued online via the National Public Service Portal in 2021.

The Prime Minister has recently issued the National Strategy for the Industry 4.0 until 2030 to fulfill targets set forth in the Politburo’s Resolution 52-NQ/TW that outlines policies guiding Vietnam’s active involvement in the revolution.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc requested ministries and localities to soon address shortcomings in legal environment for building the e-government, while chairing an online meeting on August 26.

The Prime Minister on June 3 signed Decision 749/QD-TTg to approve the national program on digital transformation until 2025, with a vision toward 2030, aiming to make Vietnam among the world’s top 50 countries in terms of the E-Government Development Index (EGDI).

In the coming time, Vietnam’s investment and business environment will be substantially improved in a bid to further raise the country’s competitiveness, according to Government Resolution 02 inked by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on the first day of 2020.

Vietnam will strive to increase its international rankings in terms of business environment and competitiveness in order to adapt itself to the new production system in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, according to a resolution adopted by the Government on the first day of 2019.

Raising productivity and competitiveness of the economy and improving the business environment continue to be at the top of the Government’s agenda this year.
