Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on August 24 requested thorough consideration and prudence during the revision of the Land Law, which deals with a wide scope and relates to many other laws.

Passed on November 29, 2013, by the XIIIth National Assembly, the revised Land Law (the Law) introduces important changes in land policies aiming to meet the country’s socio-economic development requirements in the period of accelerating the national industrialization and modernization, developing the socialist-oriented market economy and deepening the international integration.

The possibility to boost foreign direct investment is closely related with the openness of the land law, particularly a fair access to land between domestic and foreign investors.
