Minister and Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung answered questions about the roadmap for reopening the economy following the COVID-19 pandemic and about national digital transformation during a Government press briefing in Hanoi on January 4.

The Government has directed ministries, agencies, businesses, localities and people to keep up with efforts to fulfill both goals of containing COVID-19 outbreak and socio-economic development, according to Minister and Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung.

Vietnam plans to hasten the reform of customs checks to save time and costs for businesses and facilitate trade.

The Government Office held a ceremony in Hanoi on March 12 to launch the National E-Document Exchange Platform, a move towards a digital government and economy.
