Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed a document requesting more efforts to promote the development of and remove obstacles to the real estate market.

It is a need to create an open legal corridor that is suitable to the country's conditions to help authorities properly perform lawmaking tasks, said Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the ongoing Government’s monthly lawmaking session in Hanoi on March 27.

Vietnam will adjust investment policies to adapt to the global minimum tax rate and remain an attractive destination for investment. The move comes amid concerns that this measure might undermine the competitive advantage of developing countries in attracting foreign investment through offering tax incentives.

President Vo Van Thuong hosted a reception in Hanoi on March 21 for Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhonn, who is in Vietnam for an official visit and co-chairing the 20th meeting of the Vietnam-Cambodia Joint Commission on Economic, Cultural, Scientific and Technological Cooperation.

The new Oil and Gas Law of Vietnam, which was passed in November last year, will officially come into force on July 1.
