The hosting of the Asian Associations of Supreme Audit Institutions’s 14th Assembly shows the ASOSAI community’s high valuation of the State Audit of Vietnam, while contributing to enhancing the prestige of Vietnam’s external activities, including those of the National Assembly, said NA Vice Chairman Phung Quoc Hien.

The Ministry of Finance has issued an official letter guiding in detail the value-added tax (VAT) refund for foreigners in case they have received VAT refund but not yet left the country for some reasons. Customs offices will guide them to show goods that they have bought and invoices for VAT refund issued by banks (if any).

According Deputy State Auditor General Le Minh Khai, in 2013 the State Audit of Vietnam (SAV) will audit 142 companies and agencies belonging to 16 ministries, 34 provinces and cities, 25 investment projects and five national target programs.
