Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that Vietnam always attaches importance to the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation with Argentina during a reception for a delegation of leaders from some provinces of the South American country in Hanoi on November 14.

Party General Secretary and President of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong and President of Argentina Mauricio Macri have agreed to intensify the countries’ comprehensive partnership towards a strategic partnership in the future.

President of Argentina Mauricio Macri and his spouse started their State visit to Vietnam from February 19-21 to deepen the bilateral strategic partnership.

Vietnam was resolved to strengthen and expand multifaceted cooperation with Argentina in trade, investment, petroleum and energy development, science and technology and cultural exchange, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung told Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner in Buenos Aires on April 16.
