The draft revised Labor Code, which is expected to be passed by the National Assembly this October, contains several noteworthy amendments to the current regulations on wages.

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) is collecting opinions on a new law which would amend a number of articles of the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants (2008) and the Law on Public Employees (2010).

Making a law on minimum wages (MW) is not a new topic. Since its inception, the International Labor Organization (ILO) has adopted a large number of legal instruments on minimum wages. So far, member states have adhered to these instruments to adopt domestic policies.
