The Ministry of Finance has adopted Circular 122/2010/TT-BTC (Circular 122), broadening state control of pricing of goods and services. Circular 122, which became effective on October 1, 2010, requires essentially all businesses, which trade in goods and services subject to price valorization, to register or declare the prices of their goods and services with state authorities, as well as to register or declare the prices of the “constituent parts” of their goods and services.
