Over the two years of enforcement, the Law on the Vietnam Coast Guard has proved to be a “sharp tool” for implementing law at sea.

These include the Law on Competition, Law on Anti-Corruption, Law on the People's Public Security Forces, Law on Special Amnesty, Law on Vietnam Coast Guard, and Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Higher Education

The Law on the Vietnam Coast Guard was adopted at the sixth session of the 14th National Assembly last November. This is a solid legal foundation for enforcement of Vietnam’s maritime law, greatly contributing to the protection of national sovereignty, sovereign rights and jurisdiction in the maritime zones of Vietnam.
