Vietnam needs drastic solutions to plastic pollution caused by agricultural production as it has been putting pressures on the environment, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Phung Duc Tien said on May 31.

By 2030, about 25 percent of exported rice is expected to bear the brand name of Vietnam rice, according to Decision No. 583 signed by Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai on May 26.
