Lawmakers set legislative agenda for 2015

On May 30, the National Assembly adopted Resolution No. 70/2014/QH13, approving its 2015 law- and ordinance-making program. Accordingly, 29 laws and two ordinances will be passed next year.

At the 9th session, lawmakers will pass 13 drafts, including:

- The amended Law on Organization of the Government;

- The Law on Organization of Local Administrations;

- The Law on Special Administrative-Economic Units;

- The amended Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front;

- The Law on Election of Deputies to the National Assembly and Deputies to People’s Councils;

- The amended Law on the State Budget;

- The amended Law on State Audit;

- The Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents;

- The amended Law on Military Duty;

- The Law on Marine and Island Resources and Environment;

- The Law on Animal Health;

- The Law on Labor Safety and Hygiene; and,

- The National Assembly’s Resolution on the 2016 law- and ordinance-making program.

At the 10th session, the National Assembly will pass 16 drafts, namely:

- The amended Civil Code;

- The amended Penal Code;

- The amended Civil Procedure Code;

- The amended Criminal Procedure Code;

- The amended Administrative Procedure Law;

- The Law on Organization of Criminal Investigation Agencies;

- The Law on Custody and Temporary Detention;

- The Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People’s Councils;

- The Law on Referendum;

- The Law on Demonstration;

- The Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Accounting Law;

- The amended Statistics Law;

- The Law on Information Safety;

- The Law on Charges and Fees;

- The Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Vietnam Maritime Code; and,

- The Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Technology Transfer.

Besides, the National Assembly Standing Committee will adopt two ordinances, including the Ordinance on Professional Soldiers and National Defense Workers and Personnel and the Ordinance on Training of a Number of Judicial Titles.-
