Released on August 22, 2016, Official Gazette issues Nos. 11-12 of May 2016 introduce two English-translated government decrees. They are:
- Decree No. 41/2016/ND-CP of May 15, 2016, detailing the licensing for foreign organizations and individuals to conduct scientific research in the maritime zones of Vietnam; and,
- Decree No. 40/2016/ND-CP of May 15, 2016, detailing a number of articles of the Law on Marine and Island Resources and Environment.-
