DPRK, US leaders arrive in Hanoi
Chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Kim Jong Un and President of the United States of America Donald Trump have arrived in Hanoi on February 26 for their second summit, an event following the historic first round of talks last year in Singapore.

Chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Un has arrived in Vietnam in his heavily armored train in the morning of February 26.

The train stopped at Dong Dang Railway Station in the northern border province of Lang Son. Kim's motorcade drove the remaining 100 miles to Hanoi.

He is in Vietnam to attend the DPRK-USA Summit held in Hanoi and for an official friendship visit to the country.

The official friendship visit is being made at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, President Nguyen Phu Trong.

Chairman Kim will hold talks with US President Donald Trump in Hanoi, an event following the historic first round of talks last year in Singapore.

The same day, US President Donald Trump lands at Noi Bai International Airport. He was accompanied by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney.

In addition to holding talks with Kim Jong Un, Trump is scheduled to meet high-ranking Vietnamese officials.

This is his second time in Vietnam. Last November, Trump made an official visit to Vietnam and attended the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Da Nang.- (VLLF)
