Under the 2016 legislative program,, at its 11th session, the National Assembly is expected to pass six laws, including the Law on Information Access, the amended Law on the Conclusion, Accession to, and Implementation of Treaties, the Law on Planning, the amended Press Law, the amended Law on Child Protection, Care and Education, and the amended Pharmacy Law. Deputies will also comment on the draft Law on Demonstration.
The XIVth National Assembly will approve the 2017 law- and ordinance-making program and pass five laws concerning issuance of administrative decisions, demonstration, associations, beliefs and religions, and asset auction.
Additionally, the National Assembly Standing Committee will adopt two ordinances, including the amended Ordinance on Plan Varieties and the amended Ordinance on Livestock Breeds.
According to the Resolution, the law- and ordinance-making program for the XIIIth tenure and 2015 will be added with a resolution revising Resolution No. 1269/2011/NQ-UBTVQH12 of July 14, 2011, on the environmental protection tariff; a draft resolution amending a number of articles of Resolution No. 712/2013/NQ-UBTVQH13 of December 16, 2013, promulgating the royalty tariff; a draft resolution on one-off payment of social insurance benefits to workers one year after they cease working; and a draft ordinance on market management.
Particularly, the 2015 legislative program will be added with the draft revised Law on Import Duty and Export Duty and the draft revised Law on Pharmacy, and exclude the draft Law on Population.
The draft Law on Hydrometeorology is expected to be passed at the 10th session of this legislature while the draft revised Law on Technology Transfer will be left for comment at the second session of the XIVth National Assembly.-
