At a ceremony to hand the Samsung Group its investment license to build a USD 1.4 billion electronics production factory in Ho Chi Minh City’s Saigon Hi-Tech Park, Trong affirmed that Vietnam would further create favorable conditions for foreign investors, including those from the RoK.
He said that bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and the RoK had grown in all fields thanks to the political determination of the two countries and the support of their peoples and business communities.
Vietnam invited RoK businesses to make long-term investment in the country, especially in infrastructure, human resources, green growth, and support industries, the Party chief said when meeting with the heads of the Keangnam Group.
Trong also briefed the Vietnamese Embassy in Seoul and representatives of the Vietnamese community on socio-economic development, security-defense efforts, external relations and policy implementation in Vietnam, saying his visit aimed to boost the strategic partnership between Vietnam and the RoK.-
