Vietnam and Laos confirmed their determination to maintain and promote the special solidarity and close relations between the two Parties, States and peoples, in a joint statement issued during a visit to Laos by the Communist Party of Vietnam’s General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, which was made from October 10-13.
