E-invoices would be used nationwide, affirmed Nguyen Van Phung, director of the Ministry of Finance’s Tax Policy Department, at a recent VNPT-Invoice workshop held by Vietnam Data Communication (VDC) Company in Hanoi.
He added that the ministry would revise its circular guiding the Law on E-Transactions in the field of finance toward creating a more transparent legal framework for e-invoices.
The ministry may issue a circular to regulate e-invoices if necessary, he noted.
Representatives from the General Department of Taxation told the workshop that all enterprises would be able to fill in tax declarations via the Internet by the end of next month.
This is a warm response from state management agencies to accelerate the application of e-invoices in the coming time.-
