Hanoi has recorded encouraging results in its administrative reform efforts to speed up economic growth and lure investment. However, as achievements remain modest compared to practical requirements of citizens and businesses, Hanoi authorities still consider further accelerating administrative reform, with simplification of administrative procedures, assurance of publicity and transparency and raising of civil servants’ sense of discipline and responsibility as key tasks, a breakthrough in the development of the capital city.
