Legislators are scheduled to adopt five laws as well as resolutions during the last days of the sixth NA session that will close on November 29.
To-be-passed bills include four revised laws, namely that the Law on Identity, Housing Law, Law on Water Resources and Law on Real Estate Business, and the Law on Forces Participating in Safeguarding of Grassroots Security and Order which is the completely new one.
The resolutions cover piloting some specific mechanisms and policies on investment in the construction of road projects, the application of additional corporate income tax in accordance with regulations to prevent the erosion of the global tax base, the results of thematic oversight over the implementation of the legislature’s resolutions on national target programs, and question-and-answer activities, and the resolution of the sixth sitting.
On November 27, the NA will look into the draft revised Law on the Capital and the Government’s reports on the preliminary review of the pilot urban government model in Hanoi and Da Nang city, and the three-year implementation of the model in Ho Chi Minh City.
In the afternoon, they will scrutinize the draft amended Law on Archives.-(VLLF)
