New bridges will be built in 32 provinces in the northern mountainous region, the Central Vietnam and Central Highlands at a cost of VND 324.866 billion.
Such is provided in Prime Minister Decision No. 368/QD-TTg of March 12, approving the scheme on building of bridges in rural and mountainous areas to serve the development of rural areas and poverty alleviation there.
Within seven years, from 2014 to 2020, 450 bridges will be built in 32 provinces and centrally run cities.
Ground clearance compensations will be pail by local administrations, while local inhabitants will have to provide voluntary labor for bridge construction.
