In order to create a more equal and transparent legal framework for the securities sector, thus facilitating operations of securities firms while better protecting investors’ interests, the Government on July 20 issued Decree No. 58/2012/ND-CP (the Decree) to guide the 2006 Securities Law and its 2010 amendments, in replacement of Decree No. 14 of 2007, Decree No. 84 of 2010, and Decree No. 01 of 2010.
