In spite of many efforts, Vietnam’s current infrastructure is in a worrying situation as transport systems are largely weak, of small scale and below technological standards; the country has not yet had deepwater seaports and standard highways; urban road systems in large cities and developed areas have not been fully connected to the national transport system.
