To improve its capacity to meet new requirements, the National Assembly is revising the Law on Organization of the National Assembly and plans to pass this law at its 9th session in May this year. Dr. Lenni Montiel, UNDP Senior Technical Advisor at Project VIE/02/007, “Strengthening the Capacity of People’s Elected Bodies in Vietnam,” spoke with Vietnam Law & Legal Forum about why he thinks the revision of the law is necessary and how the National Assembly can improve itself in the coming period.
