Vietnam’s current legislation on beliefs and religions completely accords with relevant international standards. The country’s law provisions on beliefs and religions aim to guarantee, on the one hand, Vietnamese citizens’ rights to belief and religious freedom, and on the other hand, the nation’s cultural traditions and values as well as security in accordance with international law.
