Cabinet leader asks for completion of law-guiding documents by first quarter of 2016

However, there remain many documents which have not yet been issued or have seen delayed issuance to detail and guide the implementation of the passed laws, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said, citing that the number of outstanding legal documents would reach 60 counting to January 1, 2016.

Acknowledging and appreciating the efforts of ministries and sectors in drafting laws and ordinances, Dung asked them to pay further attention to the lawmaking work through improving resources and personnel so that they can complete by the end of the first quarter of 2016 legal documents guiding the laws effective on January 1, 2016.

Discussing the draft report on working activities of the Government during 2011-16, the cabinet members analyzed achievements and limitations in direction and administration work.

They agreed that the Government had made strong efforts in implementing the National Assembly’s and the Party’s policies and resolutions through specific programs and plans, combined socio-economic development tasks with assurance of national defense, security, and social progress and justice, and improvement of people’s lives.

During task performance, importance has always been attached to the sense of responsibility, joint efforts and actions for the interests of the nation and people, they said, adding that the democratic centralism principle was strictly followed through working regulations and close coordination among ministries and sectors in directing and organizing the performance of joint tasks.- (VLLF)
