The Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) has been honored among Top 10 Vietnamese Brands in 2023 in a forum themed “New economic models to promote breakthrough growth and sustainable development” hosted by the Vietnam Economic Times magazine in October 6.
The list comprises valuable brands of enterprises that have outstanding and impressive operating results; play a pioneering role in innovation and application of advanced information technology to create breakthroughs in the value chain of production, business and trade in products and services; take the lead in implementing action plans on sustainable development, environmental improvement and mitigation of climate change toward fulfilling Vietnam’s net-zero commitment, and at the same time, have policies toward their laborers and the community.
This honorable award is attributed to Agribank’s constant efforts in innovation and application of technologies for digital transformation in the banking sector; improvement of the quality of new products and services, green transformation and sustainable development associated with the environmental and social governance (ESG) policy framework, as well as its leading role in the social welfare work for the community.
Previously, Agribank entered into top 10 brands in the banking-finance sector in 2021 and 2022. This year, Agribank was named among top 10 most valuable brands in Vietnam, valued at USD 1.44 billion with the score of 71,58 in the Brand Strength Index and an AA rating by the Brand Finance, in collaboration with the Mibrand Vietnam. Early this year, Agribank was honored with the prestigious Sao Khue Award for its online account opening management system on the Agribank E-Mobile Banking application and the digital banking in the card operation. The Sao Khue award is an award held annually by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association to recognize outstanding achievements and contributions of companies in the field of information and communication technology.- (Huyen Hanh)
