The amended Civil Code should influence other laws as a guiding legal document, State President Tran Duc Luong said on April 13 at a meeting of the Steering Committee for Judicial Reform, pointing out that as the Code directly impacts on the people’s daily life and business, it is a common code that should have a uniform connection with other specialized laws and should regulate such relationships as civil transactions, commerce, marriage, family and labor.
