Criminal law provisions on exhibits: Some inconsistencies to address
Exhibits constitute one of important sources of evidence of crimes and offenders as well as other matters necessary for the proper settlement of criminal cases. Article 74 of the 2003 Criminal Procedure Code (the Code) stipulates: “Exhibits are objects which have been used as tools or means for the commission of crimes; items carrying traces of crimes, things being targets of crimes, as well as money and other things which can be used to prove crimes and offenders.”
