Protection of human rights of minors in criminal proceedings
The international law on human rights puts minors (children)1 into the vulnerable group in relation to human rights. Members of this group have a low political, social or economic status which renders them highly vulnerable to human rights violations and, therefore, need special protection as compared to other groups.
