Chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Un has arrived in Vietnam in his heavily armored train in the morning of February 26.
The train stopped at Dong Dang Railway Station in the northern border province of Lang Son. Kim's motorcade drove the remaining 100 miles to Hanoi.
He is in Vietnam to attend the DPRK-USA Summit held in Hanoi and for an official friendship visit to the country.
The official friendship visit is being made at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, President Nguyen Phu Trong.
Chairman Kim will hold talks with US President Donald Trump in Hanoi, an event following the historic first round of talks last year in Singapore.
