From January 1 next year, the new Law on Grassroots Conciliation (the Law) will supersede the 1998 Ordinance on Grassroots Conciliation Organization and Activities (the Ordinance). The Law is expected to promote the participation in grassroots conciliation by the society, especially Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees.
