The Department of Secured Transactions Registration and State Compensation under the Ministry of Justice (MOJ completed the migration between July 20 and 26 in coordination with the ministry’s Department of Information Technology and FPT Information System Co., Ltd. (FPT IS).
The upgrade is part of the MOJ’s broader efforts to modernise its information systems and advance digital transformation and administrative reform.
The new cloud infrastructure is expected to improve the system’s processing capacity and strengthen information safety and security, supporting the registration of security interests and provision of related information nationwide.
As the system handles a large volume of dossiers and transactions each day, the migration required careful preparation to protect data, ensure service continuity and minimise impacts in related individuals, businesses, agencies and organisations.
Under the approved plan, the Department’s division responsible for online registration and data management worked with the MOJ’s Department of Information Technology and technical teams to review the existing infrastructure, back up data, verify database integrity, configure the new operating environment, test system functions and assess performance before the system officially went live on the new infrastructure.
Moving the system to the cloud is expected to allow more efficient management and use of IT resources, provide greater scalability as demand grows, and strengthen data backup and recovery capabilities.
On July 28, representatives of the Department’s online registration and data management division met with FPT IS to review the migration, assess system performance and discuss cooperation in the next phase.
The two sides considered measures to monitor system operations, optimise functions, strengthen information security and improve coordination in responding to technical issues, with a view to maintaining stable and uninterrupted services.
They also agreed to maintain close coordination during the initial period of operation on the new infrastructure. System performance, responsiveness and stability will be continuously monitored, while backup technical solutions will remain in place to allow a timely response to potential incidents and avoid disruptions to public services.
The successful migration also creates favourable conditions for the Department to adopt new technologies in the future and further improve the quality of online public services for individuals and businesses.
The move contributes to the MOJ’s goal of building modern digital infrastructure, improving the use of information technology across the justice sector and delivering more efficient, transparent and convenient online public services.- (VLLF)
