The National Assembly (NA)’s draft resolutions on enforcement of the Penal Code and settlement of non-performing loans of credit institutions will be added to the 2017 law- and ordinance-making program, according to Resolution No. 379 just signed by NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.
These two resolutions will be adopted at the NA’s third session, while a draft Law revising a number of articles of the Law on Credit Institutions is expected to be passed at the fourth session, the Resolution says.
The NA Standing Committee assigns the Government to submit such draft resolutions to the NA. The NA’s Committee on Judicial Affairs and Committee on Economic Affairs will take charge of verifying these two drafts, respectively.
As per Resolution 379, the revised draft Law on Competition and the draft Law on State Secret Protection will be tabled at the fourth session but not at the third session as previously scheduled.
Meanwhile, the draft Law revising a number of articles of the Labor Code and the draft Law on Interim Urgent Measures Prior to Lawsuit Initiation will be removed from the 2017 law- and ordinance-making program.- (VLLF)
