After nearly 10 years in effect, the 2003 Land Law has created remarkable improvements in land administration and use. The Law and its guiding documents have promoted the economical and effective use of land resources. However, not a few difficulties and problems have emerged in the implementation of the Law, which are addressed in the draft amended Land Law put up for discussion at a National Assembly Standing Committee meeting held this month.
