Notarization of office lease contracts: a vague legislation and a life vest
When setting up a business in Vietnam, generally there is a need for a foreign company to lease an office to have a contact address. The lessee has to sign an office lease contract of a term of over six months with a Vietnamese landlord. The legal matter here is whether the contract must be notarized or certified.
