Having the honor to greet the Party leader, shake hands and talk to him during his visit to China, Quynh said she will never forget his closeness and modesty. Recalling that during his meeting with overseas Vietnamese at the embassy in Beijing, Trong said overseas Vietnamese should always unite to support the home country, she said she will always bear in mind his advice and strive unceasing following the bright example set by the Party leader.
Tran Thi Chang, president of the Malaysia-Vietnam Friendship Association, said her impression after two times meeting General Secretary Trong that he is a leader with talent, integrity and impartiality. “He works without holiday devotedly until the end of his life. He is a leader with a good heart and strong ethics,” she stressed.
She recalled that during a meeting with overseas Vietnamese at the Lunar New Year meeting in Hanoi in 2016, the Party leader said overseas Vietnamese should unite and support each other, and together support the home country. Chang said she was deeply moved when he said overseas Vietnamese are an integral part of the Vietnamese nation, and she has made it the guideline for her every action.
