The Vietnam-US Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA) has not only promoted trade between the two countries but also created favorable conditions for Vietnam to lure more foreign investment, said Jonathan Aloisi, US Deputy Chief of Mission in Vietnam, at a seminar held in Hanoi on July 17 to assess five years’ trade, investment and economic impacts of the agreement.
