The national mission: Setting goals for the post-WTO era
After more than 11 years of persistent and arduous negotiations, Vietnam has become the 150th member of the World Trade Organization (WTO). This results from the Party’s policy of renewing, building and developing a socialist oriented market economy, and achieving gradual international economic integration – from bilateral and regional to multilateral and global – that our Party and State has pursued out over the past 20 years.
