Tetra Pak is cooperating with AEONMALL Vietnam Co., Ltd. to expand the scope of the program of collecting and recycling used beverage cartons and other materials to AEON MALL Ha Dong and AEON MALL Long Bien, starting from May 27th, 2023.

In the South, Tetra Pak has been collecting used beverage cartons from consumers at AEON MALL shopping centers in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province.

Consumers will have the opportunity to receive meaningful gifts when taking part in mini games at Tetra Pak booths

This year, there are six participants in the collection program including AEONMALL Vietnam Company, Tetra Pak Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Polytex Far Eastern Vietnam Co. Ltd (FEPV), JP CORELEX Vietnam Co. Ltd, ECO Vietnam Joint Stock Company, and the environmental organization Tagom. Under the theme of "Recycling Waste - Creating the Future 2023," the collection activities aim to raise public awareness about the importance of waste sorting, recycling, and share recycling processes with the community. Through a series of events, customers will have the opportunity to participate in activities such as exchanging waste for gifts, learning about waste sorting and recycling methods, and taking part in educational games about the environment specifically designed for children. Tetra Pak also sets up booths with the theme of carton recycling from May 27th to June 5th at five AEON MALL shopping centers in Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province, where customers can visit and experience the above activities.

Inside the booth is a display area for products made from recycled materials. Tetra Pak also implements practical and interesting activities to contribute to environmental protection such as collecting processed cartons and mini-games, namely sorting garbage and dropping balls at the booth.

Participating in the above activities, consumers will have the opportunity to receive meaningful gifts from Tetra Pak when they:

• Bring 50 processed cartons and post a check-in photo at the Tetra Pak booth with the program's hashtag (#EcoEvent2023#Taichevohopgiay#TetraPak) on Facebook.

• Bring 50 processed paper boxes and successfully complete waste sorting mini-games.

• Successfully complete waste sorting and sorting balls mini-games and post a check-in photo at the Tetra Pak booth with the program's hashtag (#EcoEvent2023#Taichevohopgiay#TetraPak) on Facebook.

• 5,000 gifts will be distributed, including handbooks, toilet paper and gift wrapping paper made from recycled milk cartons, canvas bags, and nutritious milk.

This is the second year that Tetra Pak and AEON Mall have collaborated to collect used beverage cartons. Previously, in 2022, Tetra Pak, together with AEON Mall Vietnam, Saigon Paper Corporation, and FEPV, launched the "Recycling Waste - Protecting the Future" Festival and initiated a used beverage carton collection program in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong to celebrate World Environment Day.

In addition to AEON Mall, Tetra Pak also collaborates with other retailers such as Mega Market and various partners to continuously expand the carton collection network. Tetra Pak has established 96 public collection points not only in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, but also in many other provinces and cities across the country.
