ASEM-5 TO REVITALIZE AND SUBSTANTIATE ASIA-EUROPE TIES
The fifth Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM-5) was a “summit of bold vision and strong resolve to elevate the Asia-Europe partnership to a new level of more substantive and effective cooperation, particularly in the economic and cultural domains,” said Vietnamese Prime Minister Phan Van Khai in his closing speech in Hanoi on October 9.
