The Hanoi Police will crackdown on crimes committed by foreigners or the more prevalent cases in which they are victims.
Police spokesman Colonel Nguyen Duc Chung said alleged offenders would be pursued and quickly put on trial.
Typical crimes committed by foreigners include the use of fake papers to steal property and possessions, organization of prostitution rings, and gambling.
