Criteria for recognizing hi-tech agricultural projects laid out
The Prime Minister has recently issued Decision 34/2019/QD-TTg to prescribe criteria for recognizing production or business projects and plans applying high technologies in agriculture.

Accordingly, to be recognized as a hi-tech production or business project or plan in agriculture, such project or plan must prove that its applied technology is of clear origin and on the list of high technologies prioritized for development investment promulgated together with Prime Minister Decisions 66 of 2014 or Decision 13 of 2017 or this Decision.

Products turned out by such project or plan must conform to relevant national or international standards on product quality.

Such project or plan has been certified of or committed to announce the application of a quality management system which is up to TCVN ISO 9001:2015, GAP, GMP or relevant international standards.

Lastly, such project or plan must meet national standards and national technical regulations on environment or comply with the environmental protection law in case of absence of such standards or regulations.- (VLLF)
