Draft amended Land Law unveiled for public opinion
From January 3 through March 15, the draft amended Land Law will be made public to gather opinions of the people from all walks of life, according to the National Assembly Standing Committee’s Resolution 671 issued in December 23, 2022.

From January 3 through March 15, the draft amended Land Law will be made public to gather opinions of the people from all walks of life, according to the National Assembly Standing Committee’s Resolution 671 issued in December 23, 2022.

Opinions will be collected from Vietnamese citizens at home and overseas Vietnamese, state agencies from central to local levels; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and member socio-political organizations of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political-professional organizations, socio-professional organizations and social organizations; enterprises, cooperatives, business households and other economic organizations; and research institutes, universities, experts and scientists.

Put for comment are the whole contents of the draft amended Land Law and key contents determined by the Government to be suitable to each group of the consulted subjects.

Individuals and organizations may send their opinions via portals of the National Assembly, Government, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, as well as in the mass media and other forms.

After the consultation is completed, the Government will finalize the draft and report thereon to the National Assembly Standing Committee for submission to the National Assembly at its 5th session that is scheduled to be held in May.

The Vietnamese version of the draft amended Land Law is now available on portals of the National Assembly, Government and Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.- (VLLF)
