The National Assembly Standing Committee has adopted Resolution 59/2024/UBTVQH15, on adjustments to the 2025 Law- and Ordinance-Making Program.
Under the Resolution that was adopted on December 11, the draft Resolution on extension of agricultural land use tax exemption duration and the draft (revised) Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents were added to the 2025 legislative program for submission to the National Assembly for discussion and passage at the 9th session (May 2025) according to the single-session procedures.
The 2025 legislative program also included the draft Law on Personal Data Protection, (revised) Press Law and (revised) Law on Bankruptcy that will be submitted to the National Assembly for discussion at the 9th session (May 2025) and passage at the 10th session (October 2025).
As scheduled, the Government is assigned to submit such drafts to the National Assembly Standing Committee at its March 2025 session.
The Government and Supreme People’s Court are required to promptly direct the assimilation of opinions of the National Assembly Standing Committee and verification opinions of National Assembly agencies to prepare dossiers of draft resolution and laws for submission to the National Assembly, ensuring quality and progress with attention paid to further improvement of policy contents and comprehensive and serious assessment of policy impacts under regulations.- (VLLF)
