Trader representation (commercial agency) was officially recognized in the 1997 Commercial Law, although it had appeared earlier in practice. This activity is again provided for in Articles 141 to 149 of the 2005 Commercial Law, with many new contents in conformance with domestic and international practice. There remain, however, some problems in these provisions which need to be pointed out and resolved.
