Nation to join global convention on toxic chemicals
The Prime Minister on March 12 proposed the State President to consider and decide the accession to the Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides in International Trade. The accession to this Convention will help Vietnam enhance cooperation in international trade as well as inspection and supervision of the use of hazardous chemicals and pesticides for the protection of people’s health and the environment.
