From August 1, state agencies, organizations, households and individuals that know how to economically and efficiently use water will enjoy preferential loans and tax exemption or reduction for their water conservation facilities.
Under Prime Minister Decree No. 54/2015/ND-CP of June 8, 2014, organizations, households and individuals who reuse, recycle or economically use water in their daily-life and production activities, invest in water-saving products, equipment and technologies, collect rainwater, desalinate brackish water and salt water, or apply advanced technologies, techniques and measures in highly effective irrigation for agricultural production will be entitled to preferential loans or corporate income tax reduction or exemption under the regulations on investment credit.

Import duty reduction or exemption will be given to those importing advanced water-saving products, equipment and technologies as prescribed in the tax laws.
Under the Decree, organizations, households and individuals that conduct different water-saving activities eligible for incentives will enjoy all incentives provided for such activities.
In case an activity of economical and efficient water use is eligible for various incentives, those conducting such activity may choose to enjoy the most beneficial one.
Investment in outdated water-saving equipment and technologies is ineligible for incentives provided in this Decree.-
