The Ministry of Justice this year will help the Government further review the implementation of the 2002 Constitution and propose amendments to the Constitution and various laws on state organization.
Deputy Minister of Justice Le Hong Son on February 6 made this statement at a meeting with local press agencies.
The justice sector would basically reform state management of law making and enforcement and further improve the process and quality of appraisal legal documents toward professionalization, said Son.
He said that laws and ordinances drafted by the Ministry in 2012 such as the Law Amending a Number of Articles of the Law on Lawyers, Law on Civil Status, Law on Handling of Administrative Violations, Ordinance on Consolidation of Legal Documents and Ordinance on Codification of Legal Documents, would be assured of both progress and quality.
Regarding international law work, the Deputy Minister said the sector would elaborate and carry out plans and strategies on international cooperation on law and justice during 2011-20.
The ministry would work out a mechanism to help the Government manage and direct the settlement of international disputes related to commerce and investment to which the Government was a party, he said.
Civil judgment enforcement, legal aid and personnel training would be also further improved this year.-
