Discussions of several draft laws and ordinances were continued at the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee meeting which started on July 20 in Hanoi.
In the coming time, law-drafting and -verifying bodies should closely and effectively coordinate with one another and raise their sense of responsibility in making preparations for NA sessions, NA Office Chief Tran Dinh Dan said at the opening session, proposing that contents which are improperly prepared or without accompanied documents be excluded from NA agendas.
During this week-long meeting, the Committee members debated major issues involving divergent opinions on some draft laws which were commented at the recent NA’s seventh session and scheduled to be passed at its year-end session.
These include the draft laws on administrative procedures; public employees; and environmental protection tax; and revised draft laws on minerals and inspection.-
